Are you between 6–23 years old and love to sing in a choir or play in an orchestra? Good news as the admissions are now open for the Side by Side by El Sistema Sweden, one of the world's largest music camps to be held in Gothenburg between 18–22 June 2022.
Side by Side by El Sistema Sweden is an international orchestra and choir camp. Children and youth from Sweden and several other countries rehearse together in central Gothenburg with the Concert Hall as a focal point, under the direction of renowned conductors, musicians and teachers. For those traveling in, accommodation can be made available in close connection to the rehearsal venues. In 2020 and 2021 there was a digital version of the camp on a platform called the Digi Site. In June 2022, our goal is to gather over 2000 participants in Gothenburg for rehearsals, concerts and new experiences.
However, there is still a limited number of slots for each track and each instrument. Therefore, everyone who wants to participate in the camp needs to submit an application. There are two selection rounds and those who submit their application by December 14, 2021 have the greatest chance to get in.
