Side by Side by El Sistema is a global music youth camp, where young people meet to play with a symphony orchestra, to participate in choral singing and to create and develop. With music as a hub for creativity and passion, Side by Side builds bridges across people, cultures and continents.
Side by Side by El Sistema is involved in preparing for and celebrating Gothenburg’s 400-year anniversary in 2021 and its goal is to unite 30,000 participants through Side by Side by El Sistema in 2021 and to create the world’s largest music youth camp (read more by clicking here).
Since 2016, the main organiser of Side by Side by El Sistema has been the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, which works in close collaboration with the El Sistema Sweden Foundation.
