The Prague Harmonie orchestra got ready for Christmas with three festive performances in the first half of December and would now like to share with you the atmosphere of one of those concerts, sending everyone their best Christmas and new year wishes.

In their first festive performance of the season, Harmonie's Young Leaders chamber orchestra put on a lovely performance in the Czech Brethern church on the 4th December. Together with members of the local choir, they performed traditional Christmas carols and music by Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi, letting the church resound with the sound of music.

In their second and third pre-Christmas concerts, the Young Leaders were joined by the rest of Harmonie's orchestra, including the children from the preparatory class, for performances in the Czech Museum of Music and Švanda Theatre in the Prague 5 district (as shown in this video). These concerts featured classical music such as Adeste Fideles (sung by Marek Šulc of Classic Praha, who also moderated the whole performance at the theatre) and were very well received by their audiences.

This concert in Prague's Švanda Theatre was conducted by Lenka Dandová and Lukáš Cach.
