El Sistema France is an association dedicated to promoting and reproducing the fantastic global success of El Sistema in France. Since its creation in 2013, El Sistema France has developed and supported several pilot programmes for disenfranchised children living in cognitively, culturally, socially or economically difficult circumstances. 

Nowadays, it consists of three centres in the east (El Sistema Alsace), the west (El Sistema-France Vendée) and the south (El Sistema-France Opera Méditerranée) of France. El Sistema France is also proud to run the first French Orchesta de Papel programme (a programme which makes use of papier mâché instruments to help introduce children to musical instruments when standard instruments are scarce). 

All El Sistema France centres commit to a minimum of eight to 10 hours of teaching a week, the formation of a symphony orchestra and a choir, a focus on a classical music repertoire and a prioritisation of children in difficulty.
